Laviate
Laviate is created by twin sisters Demetra and Eirini Skalidaki who have worked closely with design teams of Gucci, Chanel and Mary Katrantzou and experimented with different types of embroidery before setting up their own label. The designers want to create collections with an authentic style, interesting fabrics in hand-drawn digital prints, unordinary silhouettes and artful patterns all created in a pret-a-couture philosophy. An amalgamation of historical references and an interjection of the uncanny, Laviate is a women led brand with erratic pieces that are steeped into a controlled abstraction of the present but always softened with a romantic flourish.
